Things to Know
- Do not sign or date until you are in the presence of the notary.
- Be sure all documents are completed and ready for signature-Do Not Sign/Date!
- Every signer must be physically present, coherent and present acceptable ID.
- Original documents must be presented for all Copy Certifications.
- Some documents may require signature witnesses in addition to notarization. Please bring witnesses with you as one will not be provided by the notary.

Identification Accepted
- Driver’s License or Non-Driver’s ID card issued by state, territory of the U.S., Canada or Mexico
- U.S. Passport
- U.S. Military ID card w/Photo
- Foreign Passports Stamped by U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services
- Identification card w/Photo
- Permanent Resident Card aka Green Card
Note: Current drivers license or state-issued identification card, US Passport, or military ID are preferred forms of ID.

Documents I Cannot Notarize
- Vital Certificates: Birth, Marriage, Death, Divorce Decree issued by the state of Nevada
- Photographs
- Faxed or copied signatures
- Incomplete documents
- Signer not present
- Improper ID
- Any action with an intent to deceive or defraud
- Document containing a statement known by the notary to be false nor perform
