What Is an Apostille?

An Apostille is a certificate that authenticates the origin of a public document for use in countries that are members of the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention. Common documents include:

  • Birth certificates
  • Marriage certificates
  • Power of Attorney
  • Business records
  • Court judgments

Note: Not all countries are members of the Hague Convention. For non-member countries, a more complex Legalization and/or Attestation process involving additional steps through the U.S. Department of State and foreign embassies may be required.

Boutique Apostille & Notary Services

Beyond the Signature

When your documents need international recognition, it’s critical to get it done correctly. Apostilles are not simply “extra stamps”—they are official certificates verifying that your document is authentic and legally recognized across borders.

At Notary Elite Pro, Apostille facilitation is offered through Wendy Berens-Cardinale, a licensed Document Preparation Agent in the state of Nevada. In compliance with state law, facilitation services are conducted under her licensed name—not the business entity—ensuring full transparency and professionalism throughout the process.

What Does Apostille Facilitation Mean?

We assist you by:

  • Reviewing and confirming the type of document you have
  • Identifying which authority (Secretary of State, U.S. Dept. of State, or Embassy) is responsible
  • Preparing and submitting your documents to the appropriate agency
  • Coordinating any required notarization or translation support
  • Managing secure delivery and document tracking

Please note: Notary Elite Pro does not issue Apostilles. We handle the submission and tracking process on your behalf to ensure every requirement is met—without confusion or delay.
